1. The beauty of knitted embossed leaves has been “translated” to crochet in this Embossed Leaves Vortex Shawl. This pattern is rated as intermediate. The shawl is worked from the bottom up and skills required to complete this project are: crocheting in the rows, chain (ch), slip stitch (sl st), single crochet (sc), double crochet (dc), V-stitch (in this pattern, the V-st is made of: hdc 1, ch 1, hdc 1), front post double crochet (FPdc) and back post double crochet (BPdc).

Instructions for Customization
For a larger shawl, after Row 78, just Rep Row 13 – Row 34 twice, then rep Row 13 – 23 once, and finish by rep Row 90 – Row 99. The stitch count will only increase on V-st section of shawl.
For a larger shawl, you’ll need a second yarn cake.
