Embossed Leaves Reversible Shawl CAL
If you have known me for a while, you must have noticed that I have a weakness for shawls. Needed I choose a project type to crochet for the rest of my life… hands down shawls would be it.
In my opinion, they are an ideal wearable to showcase the art of crochet and a must-have classic accessory.
I’m thrilled to host this Crochet Along. I hope you enjoy crocheting this shawl as much as I did.
About the Design:
The beauty of knitted cable leaves has been “translated” to crochet in this Embossed Leaves Reversible Shawl. The shawl has two distinctive looks where on one side the design features offset textured leaves and the other shows a knit-look relief pattern.
An intermediate crocheter or even a dedicated beginner will be comfortable making this project. The pattern will include a photo tutorial showing the technique in detail. Written in US crochet terms.
How to Participate:
The pattern will be emailed to you as PDF files, in serial format, according to CAL schedule (see below). For each part of the CAL you will receive a “Pattern Update” message to download each part PDF file. Once the last part is released, you will also receive a final PDF file containing the full pattern.

2 skeins of Bonita Yarns Dream Swirl PLUS (Sport weight, #2, 50% cotton, 50% acrylic; 1093 yds/1000 m)
Notions:
Crochet hook US size G/4.00 mm - Hook size is intentionally larger than suggested for yarn weight to create an extra drape.
