Embossed Flora Throw CAL
It’s Time to Crochet Along!
I am psyched to introduce you to my new “baby"… the Embossed Flora Throw!
My goal was to create a floral motif throw that looked modern and different from the ones I have been crocheting for more than three decades (yes, I've been around for a while...).
I’ve played around with my hook for months, but I finally felt accomplished with the results. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
The Flora Throw is ideal as a décor accent, a small blanket or a lapghan.

The Design
The Embossed Flora Throw uses a unique technique crocheted in different directions, using basic stitches, front posts, and back post stitches. The pattern is written in US English terms and includes photo tutorial. Instructions are rated intermediate level.
The sample showcased was made with our yarn Bonita Yarns Chromatic Wool in “Easy to Love” and Woolicious in “Vanilla” colorway.

7 skeins of Bonita Yarns Woolicious PLUS (DK Weight, #3, 50% wool/50% acrylic, 306 yds/280 m)
7 skeins of Bonita Yarns Dreamlicious PLUS (DK Weight, #3, 100% acrylic, 311 yds/285 m)
OR
10 skeins of Bonita Yarns Dreamlicious (DK Weight, #3, 100% acrylic, 230 yds/210 m),
10 skeins of Bonita Yarns Woolicious (DK Weight, #3, 50% wool/50% acrylic, 230 yds/210 m)

Gauge:
With H (5.00) hook HDC: 7 sts and 6 rows = 2" x 2”
